This Cyber-Security Risk Information Session will provide important updates and information on cyber security, with a special focus on not-for-profit businesses and Board responsibilities.

The information provided will be targeted specifically for Directors, CEO’s, General Managers, and Senior Leaders that interface directly with their Board.

As one of our region’s longest standing not-for-profit disability service providers, The Cram Foundation is delighted to extend an invitation to this session to other not-for-profit organisations in the community and disability sectors in our local region.

Cyber-Security is a contemporary issue for all businesses, and our region’s not-for-profit organisations are no exception. Any online activity may be subject to attacks such as phishing and ransomware. The occurrence of attacks are growing every day and are ever-changing, so an organisation’s risk management needs to change with it.

 
This cyber-security session will cover:

  • Cyber-security as a business risk for not-for-profits
  • Board responsibilities in cyber risk
  • How management can assist the Board with understanding and governing cyber risk
  • A risk-based approach to governance
  • The role of the Board and how not-for-profits are different  
  • Cyber frameworks and the role of strategy
  • Management Roles and Management Reporting
  • Board member education
  • Questions the Board should be asking
